Occupancy Reporting

The following project was a standardized report (Google Data Studio) created for multi-use retail environments to allow stakeholders to build anonymous guest experience journeys. The report allows for better informed business decisions, staffing efficiencies, improved operations, and informed real-estate development and management. Key Finding: Foot traffic trends that were previously unavailable allowed for more granular understanding of how visitors used the space.

Crowd Distribution Reporting

Venues with large amounts of foot traffic often have distribution patterns relative to their urban context. For example, at sports and entertainment venues, gates nearest to large circulation paths like parking garages and public transportation can have heavier congestion that directly effect the entire event. Check out the graphic below to see how digital assets can be used to help foot traffic become more evenly distributed.

Crowd Behavior Profiles

Determining behavior profiles for how people are using a space can help improve design outcomes including increased revenue and reduced waste. The following study was an analysis of how bar use compared to food use in a sports and entertainment venue. Food use tended to align with event intermission and ingress while bar use was consistent throughout the event. This suggests standardized quick service at specified food locations based on loading is preferable while bars should plan for consistent, specialty service environments.
